Sultans of Psychedelia

Sultans of Psychedelia is a cosmic space-dub and psychedelic live-band project from Breathe Music Recordings, created as a bridge between dubwise sound-system culture, classic psychedelic space-rock, experimental electronic music, and the loose, dangerous magic of a live jam.

The project moves through deep basslines, tape echo, skank guitar delays, psychedelic lead guitar, bubbling synths, tribal percussion, spring reverb, and interstellar dub atmospheres. It carries the spirit of a vintage dub studio drifting through deep space: analogue warmth, cosmic mischief, heavy low-end pressure, and strange transmissions from somewhere just beyond the visible map.

Led creatively by Jym Equalizer, Sultans of Psychedelia is producer-directed but imagined as a living band: a collective of players, frequencies, characters, and sonic personalities orbiting around a central psychedelic dub vision. The music is rooted in groove and atmosphere rather than formula — less about conventional songs, more about journeys, rituals, and transmissions.

The sound sits somewhere between psychedelic space-rock, psydub, dub reggae, experimental electronica, and festival-field improvisation. Spiralling guitar lines, delay trails, live-feeling drums, dub bass, synth bubbles, and occasional strange vocal textures form the core of the Sultans language.

This is music for late-night headphones, forest sound systems, smoke-lit dancefloors, and cosmic travellers who still believe dub is infinite.
